It's been a while since we last checked in on Charlie Sheen (no it hasn't), so let's see how he spent his night after getting fired from Two and a Half Men. Yep, he stood on a rooftop in Beverly Hills, California and waved a machete whilst drinking from a bottle of "Tiger Blood" (according to CBS, "a crowd cheered him on" all the while).
Sheen continued with his little one-man show by quoting Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ("Free at last, free at last!"), because Sheen—as a middle-aged, privileged, white male who made a choice to throw his life away—is somehow so delusional that he thinks there are parallels between him and the heroic civil rights activist? And parallels between his departure from a television sitcom and King's leadership during the struggle for equal rights?
Enjoy your latest look at the train wreck, America—and if you haven't already, now would be a good time to read Anna Holmes's piece on Sheen in the NY Times, titled The Disposable Woman. Or watch Sheen's Korner, whatever.
