Photos: 21 Of Our New Favorite Bodega Cats (And Keep Your Photos Coming!)

Chinatown bodega cat

We love this story: "This is Nahbee. That means Butterfly in Korean, but around our parts she's known as Slutty Bodega Cat. She has had three litters until someone intervened and got her fixed. But she's still always on the prowl. Slutty Bodega Cat can be found at a lovely bodega in Carroll Gardens."

This cat lives in Chelsea and we're going to call him Pat Kiernan since he loves the papers!

"This is Mimi—the best bodega cat on Court street. She's all business during the day, but if you catch her at night she purrs louder than a pigeon. I've caught her trapped outside during the summer a few times and she's so loyal waiting for the store to open. She's a good kitty."

In Brooklyn, snoozing on the warm monitor of course.

Not a bodega cat, but how lucky is this cat for living in a carpet store?! *scratch scratch scratch*
