Colin Atrophy Hagendorf explained his pizza philosophy over a few slices at Tony's Pizza, one of his old haunts in Williamsburg. “The thing about pizza is, if I take a bite of a slice and my first reaction is, 'Oh, that's a really good sauce,' it's not a great slice of pizza because it's a perfectly egalitarian thing. Anarchist shit never works like this because there's always a weird alpha leader, at least in my experience, but there's always that dream of the collective where every member contributes and no one's contribution overshadows the others'. I feel like the right slice of pizza is like that.”
