At least they didn't call it "BROOKLYN Hipster Dust"? In the "About Us" section of www.HipsterDust.com, the creators of the spice mixture tell us pretty much everything we couldn't already glean from the name of their product:
"Hipster Dust is a vegan spice mixture that took flight in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It is used in the kitchen to flavor vegetables, soups, noodles and everything else. Hipster Dust’s cult following has expanded far beyond its birthplace. Hipster Dust lovers have carried their enthusiasm for this invigorating seasoning from Brooklyn across the country, making fans of its distinct flavor along the way."
But what's in it? They aren't telling... which means it could just be repackaged Old Bay seasoning—but for just $5 a pop maybe it's worth finding out, since some guy named Josh declares: "Hipster Dust fucking Rules, the end." (P.S. Let us know what happens if you snort it.)
