The young man whose suicide attempt last weekend was thwarted by a garbage pile is not going to be paralyzed, as had previously been suspected. Vangelis Kapatos, 26, is currently recovering at Bellevue hospital and his aunt reports he is responding to family members and will recover. But after an incident like this, and with a building shareholders like that, now seems as good a time to make a fresh start as any.
