A home in East Hanover, NJ is being demolished because a garbage truck making routine pickups crashed into its first floor just before 8 a.m. The mayor of East Hanover and a witness say the truck driver sneezed and then a water bottle maybe rolled under the brake.

The driver jumped a curb, crossed several lawns and then into the side of the house . WABC 7 reports, "The home's resident, Sandra Guillame, was home at the time getting her children ready for school. They all managed to get out of the house without being hurt, but the accident set off an electrical fire."

The truck started burning and had to be removed from the house with a backhoe. The driver is being treated at a hospital and the police are investigating.
