Yesterday J Greg De Felice sent us a photo of this car/art project, writing, "This graffiti-stained, newspaper-filled (and now snow-covered) car has been sitting abandoned on West 15th Street between 8th & 9th Ave since at least last fall. It has yet to be ticketed or towed." We can think of at least two explanations: one, the driver has been dutifully paying the tickets like rent to a storage company, in order to keep all of those old newspapers protected from the elements. Or two, the driver has somehow found a magical parking space immune to alternate sides rules.
We've contacted the DOT to see what's up, but in the meantime, can anyone identify the taggers work on the sides?
