qpf_frisat.jpgTomorrow would be a good day to sleep in. All day. It may be sunny outside this morning but that sun is about to be replaced with clouds and heavy rain as a massive storm move up the Ohio Valley. The storm dumped nine inches of snow on North Texas yesterday and is expected to drop a foot or more of snow over the eastern Great Lakes by tomorrow.

Here on the east coast the problem is going to be rain. Lots and lots of rain. The rain is expected to start late this afternoon and become heavy overnight. Heavy rain is likely to fall off-and-on through the day tomorrow. A thunderstorm or two will also be in the mix for tomorrow afternoon. All told the city could see 2-4 inches of rain by the time it lets up late Saturday. Of course, a flood watch is in effect.

The cold front associated with this storm will sweep through town late Saturday night. Temperatures will drop from highs near 50 today and tomorrow to a breezy mid-40s on Sunday. All signs currently point to next week being generally calm and mostly sunny.
