A 48-year-old homeless man has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman at the Turnmill Bar last Saturday.

The NYPD previously announced that on Saturday, April 11, at 7:45 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was grabbed "by the throat and raped...inside of a bathroom stall in the woman's bathroom."

According to the Post, the victim had two beers with her boyfriend and a friend before she went to the lower level bathroom.

Unbeknownst to her, the ex-con was hiding in the restroom’s middle stall while she was using the toilet. Afterward, the woman opened her stall door to exit only to find Stover standing in front of her, sources said.

Stover grabbed her by the neck and snarled, “I’m going to rape you. Be quiet,” sources said, adding that he also groped her and licked her body.

A bartender at the bar saw Stover walking on the street today and recognized him from the surveillance video released by the police.

Stover was charged with rape, predatory sexual assault, criminal sex act and assault. His given address is a Department of Homeless Services intake center at Bellevue on East 30th Street in Manhattan. Stover is a registered level-three sex offender; according to the Daily News, "Stover has two prior arrests for rape, and did 20 years upstate for breaking into a South Hampton home and raping a person in August of 1992."

When asked if he raped the woman, Stover told reporters, "No."
