A new website has launched asking people to share opinions about a taxi makeover—the site's creators tell us, "Basically, the city and the Taxi & Limousine Commission are planning to redesign the taxicab, take all the current models off the road, and replace them with a fleet of custom designed cars—preferably energy-efficient, more user friendly, and handicapped accessible vehicles. They're currently reviewing proposals from design & engineering firms as well as auto-manufacturers... what we're doing is soliciting information from the general public, and all interested parties, to gather information that might be useful in the development process."
