The police say the same person is involved in at least six robberies in lower Manhattan spanning January and February of this year. In each instance, the suspect shows a knife and demands money.

Here are the details from the NYPD:

On Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 1730 hours, two suspects entered the Goldwater Boutique at 84 East 7th Street, approached an employee, and demanded money. The employee complied, and handed one of the suspects $240 cash. The other suspect then waited outside the store. Both suspects fled the location and the victim was unharmed.

This was the only incident involving two suspects. These five others involved just one suspect, who is the subject of the sketch at right:

1 (9th Pct): On Friday, January 23, 2015 at approximately 1645 hours, the suspect entered Bond Street Chocolate, located at 63 East Bond Street, and removed $250 dollars and fled.

2 (5th Pct): On Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at approximately 2000 hours, the suspect entered an art gallery located at 262 Mott Street and removed $55 in cash and fled.

3 (5th Pct): On Friday, January 30, 2015 at approximately 1940 hours, the suspect entered a clothing store located at 251 Elizabeth Street, but fled without any proceeds.

4 (5th Pct): On Saturday, February 21, 2015 at approximately 1350 hours, the suspect entered a clothing store located at 260 Mott Street and removed $275 in cash and fled to parts unknown.

5 (1st Pct): On Monday, February 23, 2015 at approximately 1915 hours, the suspect entered Molton Brown, located at 128 Spring Street, and removed $400 in cash and fled.

The suspect in the sketch is described as being 5'8"-6" and in his 30s.
