A 17-year-old East Northport resident crashed into a light post while snow-tubing last night and was killed, according to authorities.
Long Island police say that Sean Urda was out with two other 17-year-olds in nearby Huntington.
Aat around 10 p.m. last night, he lost control of the snow-tube he was riding in, colliding with the pole. He was taken to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Urda is the first reported death from yesterday's storm. His two friends were not injured.
