An unidentified man—who may be a cop's brother—drove into the 81st Precinct station house this afternoon and shot himself in the head.
The man—there are currently conflicting reports as to his age—remains in critical condition at Kings County Hospital, a spokesperson with the Bedford Stuyvesant Volunteer Ambulance Corps told Gothamist.
"A 22-year-old male evidently drove into the precinct parking lot where the cars are, crashed into the wall and then took out a small caliber automatic put it in his mouth," the source said. "When we got there, he still had a pulse and was breathing slightly," he said, adding that the man still had a pulse when he was delivered to the ER.
