A man was shot in the stomach while waiting for a train at a Brooklyn subway station last night.
Cops say the incident happened just around midnight inside the Nostrand Avenue station near Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights. The 22-year-old victim, whose name hasn't been released, told police he was waiting on the southbound 3 platform when two individuals approached him and shot him without provocation. "That's what he says," a police spokesman added.
CBS reports that the victim had actually been "involved in an argument with the alleged shooter on the train and it spilled out onto the platform."
The suspects fled the scene, and the victim was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. The suspects have been described by authorities "as young black men who are at least 17 to 19-years-old."
No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
