A man was slashed in the face by three teens while shoveling snow outside a school in East Harlem early this morning. According to police, the incident happened just before 4 a.m. this morning when the 43-year-old Department of Education worker was shoveling in front of Public School 102, located on E 113th Street, to ensure the school would be ready for classes today.
Police say the three males, all in their late teens, asked the victim for the time, then slashed him in the left side of his face. The victim was taken to Mt Sinai Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He is currently in stable condition. No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
