The Post reports that two men visiting from Tennessee are now "anyone's Dumb and Dumber Award," because when Port Authority police pulled them over, they started "confessing to crime after crime." For instance, when a cop asked what he had on him, driver Donald Martin West II said, "There's a bag of weed and some pipes."

The Port Authority cops stopped the 1994 Acura near the Lincoln Tunnel because of its tinted windows and missing license plate. Instead of turning over a license, West showed a Tennessee gun permit: "West -- who apparently didn't know you can't tote a firearm around New York City as if you were Jed Clampett -- told the officer: 'I got a gun on me.' and cheerfully added, 'In the small of my back.'" Then West mentioned his weed and pipes, as well as how he had "handcuffs, hollow-point bullets and an extra gun magazine."

West's passenger Tory Davis was also chatty: The Post's source says Davis motioned to the car's ashtray, "There's two [marijuana] blunts in the ashtray."
