Here's a look at the situation over at the Battery Park Underpass—this first photo, by Darrel Silver, is pretty extraordinary, as it shows the water level all the way up to the top of the 12'8" tunnel entrance. Silver says, "The Battery Tunnel is UNDERWATER. Not 'flooded.'" But this is actually the Battery Park underpass, which runs under Battery Park City and connects to the FDR. Here's video:
