Multiple bags of human remains—including one that contained a skull—were found Saturday near the tracks of the Long Island Railroad in Elmhurst, Queens.

The first bag was discovered near 43rd Avenue and Judge Street by a homeless man collecting cans near the tracks, reports NBC New York, with authorities uncovering two more after combing the area.

A "torso" and a "leg bone" were found among the remains, but any identifying characteristics like the person's gender, age and cause of death will require review by the medical examiner.
