The terror suspect who demanded potential jurors take genetic tests to make sure they aren't Jews was thrown out of court yesterday for ranting that she had "nothing to do with 9/11." Aafia Siddiqui — a 37-year-old Pakistani neuroscientist accused of "trying to kill American soldiers and FBI agents" in Afghanistan — was hauled out of the courtroom by US marshals following her outburst.

"The next question is going to be on anti-Semitism, and all I said was Israel was behind 9/11, and that's not anti-Semitism," she shouted on the way out, according to the Post. Siddiqui has been in custody since 2008 when she allegedly picked up an Army rifle and fired two shots at Americans who were trying to question her. She was found to be in possession of instructions for building chemical and biological weapons, as well as maps of possible terror targets including the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty.

Her trial has been delayed for psychiatric tests, "but most concluded that she was faking mental illness," according to the London Times. Apparently, "[t]wo panelists were excused after saying they couldn't be fair" to the MIT- and Brandeis-educated suspect. Opening arguments are expected to begin on Tuesday.
