In this creepy video, celebrity parasite Jason Mattera, who just so happens to be pimping a book called Hollywood Hypocrites: The Devastating Truth About Obama’s Biggest Backers, ambushes Chris Rock at a Sundance Film Festival party to ask the comedian why he thinks the Tea Party is racist. In response, Rock grabs the camera and, according to Mattera, "chucks it 50 feet, and then challenges me to a fight. It’s unreal." It's also awesome. We don't condone violence, but we wouldn't mind watching Rock bitch-slap the guy who used his Republican college newspaper to call advocates for hate crime legislation "militant homosexuals."
Breitbart.com reports, sigh, that "the confrontation took place around 2:00 a.m. on January 23, 2012," and "ended with Chris Rock challenging the conservative author to a fight." Mattera claims, "Chris Rock shouted, ‘You want to throw down? Let’s throw down right now!’ Of course, he was standing safely behind two bodyguards when he said it."
Mattera had targeted Rock because last year he made this wholly uncontroversial statement to Esquire: "When I see the Tea Party and all this stuff, it actually feels like racism's almost over. Because this is the last — this is the act up before the sleep. They're going crazy. They're insane. You want to get rid of them — and the next thing you know, they're fucking knocked out. And that's what's going on in the country right now." HA, who's crazy now, person who doesn't want a right wing gadfly shoving a camera in his face at two in the morning so he can sell more crappy books?!
To be fair, not all Tea Party people are racist. Just some of them.
