It seems it can be quite traumatic to suddenly find yourself rubbing shoulders with the masses up in first class: one woman on a JetBlue flight from JFK to San Diego last night was allegedly so enraged about getting a freeloading plebeian seatmate in her premium section that she got herself kicked off the plane after it made an emergency landing.
The unnamed woman reportedly became angry when another passenger on board Flight 185 was bumped up to the premium seat next to her at no extra cost after complaining about a broken television. And her rage over the cruel unfairness of it all must have been pretty extreme, because the 137-person flight ended up making a little detour to Denver at around 7:15 p.m. The woman was escorted off the plane at Denver International Airport and met by local law enforcement: a cell phone video obtained by a Colorado radio station shows passengers booing and shouting, "Crazy!" at her:

A spokesperson for JetBlue tells us the flight took off again two hours later, landing safely in San Diego, and the Denver Post reports the woman wasn't charged with a crime. To be sure, this isn't the first time a JetBlue flight has unexpectedly ended up in Colorado thanks to a passenger: in August, an L.A.-bound flight from JFK was forced to land at DIA after a man onboard became unruly, made his seatmates uncomfortable and yelled "fuck you" at an Air Marshal.
