The popular food fest took a break for the U.S. Open

With new vendors and old favorites, the weekly global food festival will liven up Saturday nights throughout the summer

Thousands turned out on Saturday to feast on cheap eats from all over the world.

The food event, which had been canceled last year due to the pandemic, will now offer timed and ticketed entry; the ticket revenue will cover the vendors' participation fees.

Six rotating vendors take over the South Plaza through November.

"My ideal is to one day create that experience in something that’s not a pop-up destination."

This is one of Midtown's great food values, and the lines even at prime lunchtime aren't too long.

OUTPOST will be a three-week pop-up, featuring nine of Queens Night Market's hallmark vendors.

The popular international food market is now open every Saturday evening through August.
