The MTA has triple quadruple double dog confirmed that the Smith-9th Street station will at long last reopen tomorrow morning. The bad news is that it probably won't reopen in time for your morning commute. After an intensive two-year rehabilitation project, the highest subway station in the entire transit system will fling open its doors at 10:30 a.m. Yes, we already knew this, but this is the biggest subway station news since the MTA finally gave us an uptown transfer to the 6 train from Broadway-Lafayette. We'll be camping outside Smith-9th Street tonight to be the first ones through the turnstiles; follow along on the live blog for updates throughout the night!
